We weaseled our way on to a show at The Khyber in Philadelphia. The sound guy was nice enough to let us open the show. We stuck around to watch "This Temper", bad ass two piece, really nice guys. We were going to stick around for the third band but departed immediately after they started. This was one of the Khyber's last shows, great place.
Friday July 30th - Ewing, New Jersey. 214 Weber Ave. @ The All Call In
We played with Local Demise, Slutty Earth, and The Last Barbarians. The show was a lot of fun, some tall guy gave us shit for playing on the floor. People danced, mosquitoes were relentless. Not much else to say that was interesting.
Saturday July 31st - Cortland, NY, Main St.@ Brenden's House
House show in my home town. Other bands that played were Jellyfish Heaven (Dead Milkman cover band), Dead Army, Jimmy Lawler (forgive me for the misspelling), and my friends new band that was still nameless at the time, but they were great. This was a good show except for the fact that before we played Mike couldn't find his backpack, and the next day on our way home I realized my laptop was gone, coming to the conclusion that we were robbed. Thankfully they didn't take any of our intruments, cameras or Ipods, but we lost all of our audio files that were saved on the laptop, which was a couple of months new. Major downer on an otherwise great weekend.
